Discover Youth Sports is dedicated to promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles in the communities we serve. We strive to create a welcoming environment that fosters personal growth, teamwork, and social connections. Through our programs we aim to empower kids to reach their full potential and allow kids to be kids.
At Discover Youth Sports, we offer programs for kids age 2-14 years old. Including all skill levels - Our program is built on keeping kids engaged with fun, healthy physical behaviors. From local youth sports leagues to tournaments and skills camps and clinics, and learn to play opportunities, Discover Youth Sports is truly for everyone. Our coaches and instructors are committed to helping you achieve your goals and have fun in the process.
We are currently serving the CNY area with leagues and tournaments operating out of CNY Family Sports Center and Syracuse Indoor Sport Center
We strive to ensure that we are meeting all kids where they ate at and give them an environment that they can learn, grow, get physical exercise, problem solve, and HAVE FUN playing a game as a kid.
Our organization was born from our founder's vision. Someone that is dedicated to the youth sports in his community Andy saw a landscape that needed more for all kids. After running a local youth soccer club for 10 years, as well as having two children on travel club teams, and 2 children in modified school sports, he recognized many gaps.
Recreational play provides an outstanding, fun environment, however coaching, administration, and competition, did not foster an environment for growth for players that were older and looking to advance.
Travel Club teams - Provide outstanding training, competition, and opportunities to travel great distances to play. This comes at a very high cost for the training, play, and hotel accommodations.
Local "house" teams provide an opportunity for the rec player to play at a slightly higher level of competition, however this option often comes with unfamiliar kids that do not practice together, different coaches weekly, and a higher cost.
Discover Youth Sports looks to meet kids and families in the middle. We look to provide kids an opportunity to learn at a young age and then grow into an environment right for them. We provide opportunities for kids to train together as a team with a consistent coach, and compete at a level consistent with the team's talent.
We currently offer play and coaching for soccer with the future expansion into additional sports. Our coaches provide structured training sessions to help you improve your skills and achieve your goals.
